The aim of our company is to provide quality products at affordable prices.
The van Heerden family started farming Nguni cattle in 1984 on a farm in Zululand. Craig and Lee relocated to Dundee in Northern kwaZulu Natal in 2002 where the Nguni herd have flourished. Nguni skins started becoming popular. The hides from the beef cattle were then bought back from the abattoirs and sent to the tannery for tanning. Demand grew and so did frustration with the tanneries.

The decision was made to start a tannery. The tannery is now tanning 100 nguni hides a week as well as game skins that Taxidermists and hunters send in for us to tan. The tannery has an average turnaround time of 3 months.
A new line has been added to the tannery this year. The demand for Nguni home décor has grown employing a further 3 people making mats, cushions and ottomans.
